Meet the Staff

Dr. Luke Waln and Staff
Dr. Luke Waln, DDS is proud to announce the opening of his new Center for Dental Excellence, Nisswa Smiles. Located on Main Street, Nisswa, Dr. Waln and his staff provide dental health care above and beyond what you’ll find anywhere else. Patients are welcomed into a comfortable atmosphere complete with personal televisions, a children’s play area, and a cozy fireplace. Along with a relaxed patient experience, Dr. Waln and staff take a comprehensive and preventative approach by offering the very latest in technology along with thorough patient education.
New to the Brainerd Lakes area, Dr. Waln has invested in a Cerec Machine, which can custom make a crown on site rather than sending out to a lab. This means no more impressions or temporary crowns; patients can be fit with their customized crown in just one visit.
Dr. Waln received his degree from the University of Minnesota Dental School, and has been in practice for seven years. His work experience includes serving the US Army as a Dentist in Afghanistan.
Nisswa Smiles is now open and is taking reservations for those needing comprehensive dental care. Nisswa Smiles accepts most insurances, and has convenient no-interest payment plans available for those who qualify, as well as discounts for same day payment. To make your reservation, please contact Nisswa Smiles at 218-963-6330.
